Brownes is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Housekeeper to join our team. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while following directions from supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport waste, rubbish, and debris throughout the warehouse.
  • Remove damaged or broken-down pallets and dispose of materials safely and appropriately.
  • Clean up spills and messes on the warehouse floor to ensure a hazard-free environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including loading bays, storage zones, and high-traffic pathways.
  • Assist in general warehouse tidiness and upkeep in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Support the team in keeping the work environment clean, organized, and compliant with operational policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift licence and proven forklift driving experience.
  • Previous experience in warehouse cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

  • This role involves physical work and may require lifting, bending, and extended periods on your feet.
  • You may be exposed to varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
